The bibliographic listing is arranged alphabetically by the first-mentioned author of each document. 2, Publications, 1951 through 1971 and DP-929-1, Publications, 1972 through 1976, and replaces DP-929-1, Supplements 1 and 2. This report updates the information included in DP-929, Rev. Where applicable, the meeting at which the paper was presented is given. The compilation includes those documents that have been published (research and development reports, journal articles, book chapters, etc.), and documents that have been announced in Energy Research Abstracts. This is a compilation of documents that communicate the results of scientific and technical work done at Savannah River.

The Report Number Index is an alphanumeric listing of report numbers. The Subject Index is an alphabetic listing of the most significant subject descriptors chosen to describe document content. The Personal Author Index lists all authors. The Corporate Author Index lists alphabetically the names of organizations and institutions responsible for issuing reports. The citations are arranged in broad subject categories, and consist of complete bibliographic citations with more » abstract if the abstract of a document is unavailable, the subject descriptors used to describe it for computer storage and retrieval are used in its place. Current information from these sources is processed into the bibliographic file by TIC on a continuing basis older information was obtained by retrospective searching of major secondary announcement publications. This compilation includes 5422 citations of US and foreign research reports, patents, journal articles, conference proceedings, and books. To aid individuals and organizations engaged in research on electric batteries, the DOE Technical Information Center (TIC) has cataloged, indexed, and stored in computer-retrievable form a large part of the scientific and technical information published on this subject. Appendix B defines frequently used acronyms, and Appendix C lists the recipients of this report according to their corporate affiliation. Title and publication description indexes are given for this appendix. Appendix A lists 264 bibliographic references to literature identified during this reporting period but not abstracted due to time constraints.
